Dr. Kathy Ong is a dedicated optometrist with a Doctorate of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University in South Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from UC Berkeley. As a second-generation optometrist, she carries forward her family’s legacy of providing compassionate and skilled eye care.

Her Story
Growing up in her father’s practice in San Francisco, Dr. Ong was inspired by his dedication to patients from all walks of life and his passion for teaching as a professor of optometry. After completing her studies, she gained valuable experience practicing in Texas before returning to the Bay Area to serve her local community. She is committed to offering personalized, attentive care to each patient, combining clinical expertise with a genuine focus on their well-being. Beyond her work, Dr. Ong enjoys traveling, cooking, and kayaking, which reflect her adventurous spirit and balanced approach to life.
